The Farmingville Fire Department was formed in 1931 with 16 original
members. In June of 1946 we merged with the neighboring Holtsville Fire
Department. We re-organized in 1972 to once again become the Farmingville
Fire Department.
We are located in the heart of Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
Our fire district is approximately 5.5 square miles currently have 130
members. We are an all volunteer fire department,administered by a publicly
elected Board of Fire Commissioners.
Our responsibility includes all fire and ambulance calls in our District,
plus any calls for mutual aid by our neighboring departments Community.
